Avocet Research Centre (ARC) is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at Materials Research Exchange (MRE) 2026, taking place in London from 18–20 February.
As part of the UK’s leading showcase for advanced materials innovation, this event provides a valuable opportunity to connect with organisations focused on practical research, scale-up, and application-specific development – areas that align closely with ARC’s core strengths.
What We’re Bringing to MRE 2026
At MRE 2026, ARC will focus on two of our most active areas of work:
- Sustainable battery materials development – including advanced component prototyping, lightweight tab solutions (such as Flyweight), and material compatibility testing
- Sustainable surface engineering – with an emphasis on laser processing as a cleaner alternative to chemical treatments, suitable for industrial and energy applications
Our team will be available to discuss ongoing projects, feasibility support, and how we work with partners across sectors like energy storage, aerospace, e-mobility, and defence.
If you’re attending and want to speak with us in more detail, you can pre-book a meeting here: https://calendly.com/avocetresearchcentre/arcmeeting
Let’s Talk About What You’re Developing
Whether you’re looking for support on a materials challenge, exploring a new application, or seeking collaboration around early-stage R&D, we’d be happy to connect.
We look forward to seeing you at MRE 2026 and continuing conversations around how practical research can support commercial innovation.
